The 7th Ward is where most people entering the city for the first time by land, enter from. It is where the Bay Road dumps into the city from the sylvan lands to the east.
All entrants to the city via this road must pass through the Eastwatch gate. Here they will enter into the hospitality section of the city. There are numerous bath houses, healers, inns, stables, and tailors on this side of town ready to patch up a road weary traveler. As you get closer to the central part of the district though it starts to give way to more militaristic and agricultural pursuits.
The Keep sits just a half mile due east of this district. It was placed here as a first line of defense and so that the barons could observe the majority of the overland traffic that passed on the Bay Road. This is also because a major portion of Two Moon Bay’s agricultural needs are met by Farms just outside of the city walls on this side of town. If these farms were to fall it would be difficult to keep the city fed. If Two Moon Bay is invaded by land it will be invaded by this road so they situate the majority of the siege equipment and The Keep over here for a quick defense.
The Armory is a cluster of large buildings that contain a massive forge, and machine works that manufactures all manner of siege equipment. Anything from large trebuchets and heavy ballista, to huge battering rams are made here. This manufacturing was begun during the Savage Wars but has since become another export of the cities. Due to the abundance of large timber in the area and their excellent shipping ability, the heavy weapons trade is just another way that Two Moon Bay is becoming an economic powerhouse. The armory stores hundreds and hundreds of mundane weapons and armor of every stripe and also a limited supply of minor magical items. Weapons and Armor can be purchased or repaired here.
Other points of interest in the Ward:
Raffersi Grain Mill
This is a large mill operated by Ragal Mortergrist, dwarven engineer and his two workers Slack jaw a large yet extremely dense human, and Piercel Tallowwhistle, a Gnome with a quiet and studious demeanor. This fantastic facility is powered by a magically restrained minor earth elemental on the lower level that spins the grinding wheel. Ragal is known as a fair honest dwarf, but the same can’t be said for Piercel his helper.
