This is an outcropping of rock islands on the northwest edge of the city. Each of these islands has a series of beacons and lanterns that can be activated by a secret set of cantrips known only to the lamplighters guild. The Two Moo Bay lighthouse sits on the point above the teeth as a long distance warning to all ships coming into the bay that the dangerous rocks are here and to swing wide out around the point when coming to port. These rocky hazards have claimed many a ship and boat in rough seas, even with the warning lights. Those foolish enough to get to close to the lights do so at their own peril. The waters are cold and shark infested.
The dangers to ships seen above the water line pales in comparison to what lies below. There are many dangerous rock formations just below the surface of the water around the islands. Some ships lose control during storms and end up smashed up on the rocks, or some uneducated captain from a far away port doesn’t heed the warnings and his ship goes down after puncturing it’s hull. The best course is to stay as far away from the lights as possible. The wreckage from numerous ships rest beneath the surface. There has been more than one enterprising adventurer who has explored the undersea wreckage and come away with fortune…. Of course many more have never returned to the surface…
